Frequently Asked Questions

For your convenience, we've included some of the most commonly asked questions about the gallery below. Please feel free to contact us if you can't find the answer you're looking for!

Is there an entry fee?
No. Mid Cornwall Galleries is a retail outlet and does not charge for entry.
What are your opening hours?
Please visit the Opening Hours page for details.
Is Mid Cornwall Galleries wheelchair accessible?
Yes. We have an alternate entrance suitable for wheelchair users.
Do you have a car park?
Yes. We have our own car park. It's open during business hours and is free for gallery customers.
Are dogs allowed in the gallery?
They're not i'm afraid. We love dogs, but know from experience that wagging tails + ceramics = broken ceramics. Please plan your journey accordingly, especially in hot weather.
Can I pay for something in instalments?
Mid-Cornwall Galleries is a member of the Arts Council ‘Own Art’ scheme so many of our exhibits can be paid for in instalments. For more information please visit the Own Art Scheme page.
How accurate are the images on your website?
We try very hard to make sure all images are as accurate as possible but we cannot guarantee total accuracy because their appearance is also dependant on the screen used to view them. Colour, contrast, brightness levels and even resolution may vary from screen to screen. Please bear this in mind when viewing any online artwork.
Do you ship internationally?
If you’d like to make a purchase from overseas, please contact us so we can provide you with a special shipping quote.
Does Mid Cornwall Galleries purchase artwork?
No. We source paintings etc directly from the artists themselves and do not purchase work from third parties. If you have artwork you wish to sell, your best bet would be to contact a fine art auctioneer.
I'm an artist wanting to exhibit. How do I apply?
Please visit the Artist Submissions page for details.
